Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Division of Enterprise Solutions is seeking a person to work as an Office Assistant 1 in the local Revenue Support Field Office (RSFO). The OA 1 is part of the RSFO team responsible for securing Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, Supplemental Security Income, Social Security and other benefits for the individuals residing in state operations.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include a full range of clerical duties including but not limited to the following:

• Answer and direct telephone calls to appropriate staff, respond to standard inquiries
• Sort, log, and distribute mail and reports
• Take meeting minutes when requested
• Document scanning, copying, and filing
• Prepare, proofread and/or edit correspondence and other documents
• Data entry
• Set up and staff trainings offered by the local office
• Various other tasks and projects as needed

• For CSEA positions: Local Bidding Agreements will be honored.
