Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for 70.1 transfer. In order to qualify for a Section 70.1 transfer, candidates must have one year of permanent, competitive service in an eligible Grade 11 or higher level title. The title cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two grade levels. Some titles eligible for a 70.1 transfer to the Agency Program Aide are: Secretary 1, Administrative Aide, Tax Compliance Representative 1, Motor Vehicle Consumer Services Representative 1, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong numerical problem resolution
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in performing duties
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience

Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) provides high-quality, person-centered services, supports and advocacy to approximately 136,000 individuals with developmental disabilities in New York State. We are guided in our interactions with the people we serve and each other by compassion, dignity, diversity, excellence and honesty.
Under the general direction of the Assistant Business Officer, the Agency Program Aide will perform bank reconciliations for several OPWDD District Business Offices.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Reconciling bank statements with banking software
• Reconciling bank issues with application in which financial transactions are stored
• Research and resolve outstanding issues
• Work with Business Offices on resolving outstanding issues
• Perform other work as required

• For CSEA positions: Local Bidding Agreements will be honored.
• All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
