TRANSFER QUALS: Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law to be eligible for reassignment or transfer.
Duties Description The BSA 3 will serve as a lead business analyst evaluating WCB functional processes, and will be responsible for eliciting, describing and maintaining requirements in comprehensive written document(s) (i.e. Business Case, Functional Specifications, and Business Requirements Document). In addition to requirements gathering, the position will be responsible for support, development and maintenance of enterprise process models using recognized business analysis techniques (i.e. Data Flow Diagram, Business Process Model, Context Diagram) on multiple projects. The business analyst will also be required to participate in implementation functions not limited to system testing, user acceptance testing, and procedure development. The incumbent must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be familiar with business intelligence tools to evaluate process performance data to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement.
