Minimum Qualifications • Must be a US citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be currently attending a New York State college, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State

Preferred qualifications:

• Preferred Graduate Student level; minimum Sophomore level college student
• Major in Information Technology or Engineering
• Must have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year’s worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students)
• Or currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or equivalent to a C.

Duties Description The interns requested will work in the Disabilities and Aging Cluster on a variety of tasks to help supplement support of application releases for the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR), Siebel CRM application. The business hours for the Siebel Development team are Monday thru Friday, 7am- 5pm.

The tasks for the internships are as follows:
• Integration of test scripts with testing tools to enable automated testing
• Test script writing and execution
• Standardizing/reformatting of VPCR correspondence templates
• Help incorporate Siebel non-repository items like email, correspondence templates, etc. into Subversion
• Compilation of numerous release functional design documents into a single functional design document to help supplement end user training and system understanding.
• Compilation of numerous technical design documents into a single technical design document to provide development support staff with a single document to leverage for application troubleshooting
• Assist with the design of a standard error handling framework for use within the VPCR
• Assist with the design of a standard coding framework for use within the VPCR
• Triage of support tickets and requests
