Minimum Qualifications Three (3) years of experience in Industrial Engineering, one (1) year of which involved supervisory responsibility for manufacturing operations, or five (5) years of experience in supervision and planning of manufacturing operations. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
Duties Description Plan and direct an extensive industry program at a State Correctional Facility. Performing duties which include purchasing or raw materials and their manufacture into finished goods, approve written specifications and estimates; correspond with vendors and state agencies, select shop equipment, prepare periodic and special reports of industrial activities, compile bills of materials and cost findings and exercise supervision over all civilian and inmate employees working in Correctional Services Industries.
