Duties Description Under the guidance and supervision of a G-23 staff, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Performs desk reviews of fiscal reports collected from voluntary agency service providers, including financial analysis of certified financial statements, application of relevant statutes and administrative guidelines to the process of determining allowable costs for rates that will become the basis for Federal and State reimbursement.
- Work within existing systems and methodologies and/or help to develop new systems and methodologies, for the purpose of tracking expenditures to establish reimbursement rates.
- Use spreadsheet or database software to analyze fiscal and statistical data for the purpose of presenting findings to management for review and/or other reporting purposes, as well as to calculate reimbursement rates.
- Provide technical assistance to outside entities, including service providers, State and/or local government employees and others, regarding allowable costs, reimbursement rates, or other procedures for maximizing Federal and State reimbursement of program expenditures.
- Assists in the development and/or refinement of standards used in either desk audits or rate setting models related to allowable costs, allocation procedures, and/or program efficiencies.
