Minimum Qualifications Provisional: One year of permanent competitive service in a financial management or budgeting position allocated to Grade 27/M-2.
Duties Description • Coordinates the development, preparation and presentation of the Agency Budget Requests for the programs and facilities overseen and/or operated by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).
• Maintain knowledge of the State budget preparation process, including the Division of the Budget (DOB) guidelines.
•
• Supervise and monitor the development, enactment and implementation of the Agency's budget, including ongoing operations and new initiatives.
• Assist in developing Agency Spending Plans and determining allocations for OCFS programs and facilities.
• Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the Agency’s fill level.
• Develop [[Provide] recommendations to the Director of Bureau of Budget [Resource] Management and agency managers, along with the Associate Commissioner of Division of Administration - Financial Management, on administrative, programmatic and budgetary concerns, policies, priorities, and procedures.
• Provide direct and indirect Supervision to staff.
