Duties Description The Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking qualified candidates to fill one Senior Health Care Fiscal Analyst/Health Care Fiscal Analyst Trainee position for the Office of Financial Management, State Operations Finance Group, Bureau of Costing, Rate Setting, and Revenue Management. This positions is critical in maintaining the core functions needed to collect $1.2 billion annually for the Office of Mental Health. The incumbent will report to an Associate Health Care Fiscal Analyst in the Revenue Management area and will assist in the managing of revenue to reach revenue targets as defined by the Division of the Budget. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare claims to the NYS Department of Health for various Medicaid services.
• Track multiple streams of revenue on a bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare reports reflecting revenue status.
• Check bank balances and reconcile cash system versus the bank balance.
• Provide analysis to other departments as needed.
• Present revenue status at monthly meetings.
• Analyze revenue data, discover trends, make estimates
• Work with databases, intermediate to advanced Excel functions and various legacy systems.
