Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have one year of practical experience in performing general construction or maintenance tasks. Must have and maintain a valid New York State Driver’s License appropriate for the type of vehicle operated.
Preferred qualifications: experience in supervision

Duties Description Responsible for supervising field staff and handling documentation, ordering and inventorying supplies and materials. Responsible for assisting with MMS, which includes compiling the annual work plan. Must have basic knowledge of the Vehicle and Traffic Law as it applies to the safe and legal operation of assigned equipment. Must be able to communicate tasks to be performed by staff and answer their questions concerning work procedures. Personally observe work in progress and that which is completed to ensure adherence to instructions, guidelines and schedules. Keep written records of work performed and materials and labor used. Support Recreation program by recruiting, compiling weekly reports and assisting Caretakers with special projects.

This is a temporary position with a duration of 6/29/17 through 3/31/18.
