Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the Child Protective Services Specialist 2 Civil Service eligible list

OR

Eligible for 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description Supervise a unit of Child Protective Services Specialist 1’s.

Communicate performance expectations to staff and monitor staff performance and adherence.

Utilize problem-solving and team building skills.

Complete assessments, probation reports and performance evaluations within program timeframes.

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.

Additional Comments The New York State Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment is a 24/7 operation. After hours’ supervision of Child Protective Services Specialists 1 may be required.
