Salary RangeFrom $71211 to $88971 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 21 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, as well as perform and supervise a variety of duties, within Time & Attendance service line. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Supervising the processing of a variety of personnel, benefits or time and attendance transactions for BSC customer agencies.
• Providing guidance to staff regarding the necessary follow-up work.
• Interacting with customer agency Human Resource Offices, the Department of Civil Service, the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations and the Office of the State Comptroller to resolve higher level issues in order to ensure that employee transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with governing agency rules and applicable bargaining unit contracts.
• Generating and interpreting a variety of canned and ad hoc reports related to time & attendance and payroll transaction processing and determining if follow-up action is needed.
• Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, in person and by e-mail.
• Documenting and drafting standard work related to BSC Human Resource functions.
• Regularly reviewing standard work with staff to determine if changes/updates are needed.
• Working on special assignments as requested.
• The incumbent will utilize the Oracle Right Now telephone tracking/ticketing system used within the BSC to monitor tickets and additional systems to monitor BSC HR performance metrics for their assigned section.
