Duties Description •Responsible for all aspects of survey coordination including:
Work directly with wildlife biologists to coordinate printing, arrange mailing schedules with the mail room, order supplies from the warehouse, and maintain a schedule of upcoming surveys and urges. Burst, label, stuff and mail annual mailings and surveys, including but not limited to turkey and moose surveys, bow hunter sighting logs, waterfowl surveys, and small game and trapper surveys. For e-mail-based surveys, track survey responses and e-mail "urges" for non-respondents.
Keep count of returned surveys for business reply account, open, batch and scan survey forms; edit survey data using Teleform Verifier software .Supervise and assist in training seasonal staff to complete timely distribution and data collection for all wildlife surveys.
•Monitor and respond to inquiries and correspondence received through Division of Fish and Wildlife email boxes: Handle all inquiries received through the 'Wildlife' inbox, replying directly to inquiries or distributing to appropriate staff as needed. May also be asked to monitor additional mailboxes (Wildlife Regulations, Wildlife Surveys) and sort or forward emails as needed.
•Coordination of hiring/renewal paperwork (e.g., HR-2s) for seasonal staff within the section and reviewing applications for seasonal clerical staff.
•Supervise two seasonal clerical staff.
•Compilation and posting of annual reports, plans, or policy documents to shared drives or ln-site.
•Assist with Phone Coverage for Game Management Phones: Assist with calls from the general public regarding a variety of issues including hunting regulations, nuisance wildlife issues, and general wildlife questions. Develop both the general knowledge to respond to common questions and a familiarity with how to direct calls based on staff specialty.
•Assist with invoice processing and purchase card charge reconciliation as needed.
•May assist with special projects for the Game Management Section such as refining data collection and entry methods and improving or revising web content.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Travel may be required. Overtime may be required. Overnight travel may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required.
