Minimum Qualifications
Transfer Qualifications: Any Current Speech Language Pathologist 2
Anyone eligible for a 70.1 transfer.
Promotional Opportunities: Anyone currently reachable on the Civil Service list.
Provisional Appointment: In the event that there is not a valid eligible list, candidates who
meet the qualifications below may be qualified for a provisional
appointment.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must have one year of post-master's experience** as a Speech Language Pathologist AND
Either I: New York State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist;
Or II: American Speech and Hearing Association certification.
** This experience is NOT in addition to the experience required for licensure or certification. However, you must have had one full calendar year of experience rather than the nine months of experience required for licensure or certification.
Duties Description Primarily responsible for Franklin/ Northern Hamilton Counties.
Will provide clinical services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. You will be called upon as a consultant in your specialty for treatment programming and evaluation. You will provide training for paraprofessional employees. Will conduct individual assessments, individual and group speech/ language therapy and other classes, as needed.
