Minimum Qualifications Permanent service as a Medical Care Representative and otherwise eligible to transfer; or reachable on the current eligible list. Candidates on the current eligible list will be canvassed and need not apply to this posting.

Duties Description The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: reviewing claimants’ treatment plans to ensure services are allowable and casually related; reviewing requests for home modifications; reviewing requests from claimants for high cost medical equipment and working with vendors for reasonable and customary costs; reviewing, maintaining, and reimbursing Homecare services for victims; assisting OVS personnel in interpreting medical bills and records; reviewing medical bills, reports, and claimant requests for appropriateness to injuries sustained from a crime; reviewing requests for educational assistance for job retraining; assisting the Coordinator of Vocational Rehab in developing and implementing unit policies; and developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with community resources to assist the victim in achieving pre-injury status or maximum potential.
