Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the appropriate Civil Service list for this title; OR

Transfer Opportunity:
One year of permanent competitive service as a Training Specialist 2 or in a title Grade 21 or above that is eligible for transfer pursuant to Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Coordinate all training-related activities related to Raise the Age (RTA)
Be the primary liaison to between BTD, DJJOY and CWCS on RTA
Represent BTD in all RTA meetings; liaise with the various parts of BTD to coordinate trainng and coverage issues related to an increased number of trainings needed to meet the expected hiring
With support of the BTD curriculum-writing team, research, develop and deliver curricula to meet the training needs of staff to specific to this subset of youth and/or tailor to needs of different environments; conduct trainings, possibly statewide
Work with BTD evaluation unit to develop measurable outcomes related to the new training; monitor the outcomes of the training and change as necessary.
Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.

Additional Comments Travel will be required. Approximately 20-30%, based on need. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5pm.
