Duties Description Plan the work of his/her staff. He/she will organize the workload, and assign the Business Systems Analyst 1s and 2 to research and gather information about the requirements of the information technology systems and business systems that support all OCFS divisions.

Analyze and evaluate the current, or ‘as is’ business processes and functions in all divisions.

Will perform supervisory duties.

Review the agency’s critical, existing information technology and business functions and processes; write revised requirements for these systems; and develop requirements for future, ‘to be’, systems and business processes.

Assist the staff of all divisions in prioritizing and organizing business processes.

Advise the staff of each division, and Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) staff, of business process requirements.

Anticipate the effect of proposed changes to current business processes, and the adoption of new processes, on the operations of three divisions.

Assess and comment on proposed project timelines and priorities.

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
