Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The incumbent will report to the Associate Administrative Analyst. Duties will include, but not limited to:
• Management and administration of Snow and Ice Municipal Contracts, Arterial Maintenance Agreements, and Shared Service Agreements including tracking contract status, processing contracts and extensions and calculating and making payments.
• Work with program managers as needed to support administration of maintenance contracts and attachments.
• Serve as process owner and subject matter expert for the administration of the snow and ice contracts.
• Serve as backup to Associate Administrative Analyst in allocating funds to regions.
• Coordinate with the Regions and Accounting on the development and processing of contracts.
• Maintain and update the Municipal Snow and Ice contract procedure manual.
• Work with the Statewide Lean program to continuously streamline the complex Municipal Snow and Ice contracting process.
• Coordinate with Legal Affairs on changes to contract language.
• Work with OSC on changes to contracts driven by changes in OSC contracting rules.
• Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the Department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
