Duties Description Position Description: The person in this position will be responsible for providing support in the Sunmount Medical Clinic. The person in this position will be responsible to carry out the day-to-day support activities required to accomplish the work of the Sunmount Medical Clinic.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examples of the types of duties include but are not limited to:
• Coordinates scheduling for campus programs for Psychiatry, contracted Optometry, and Podiatry clinics for the individuals we serve. This includes processing consults, appointments, notification to teams, maintaining and tracking previous and future appointments by using Excel.
• Completing necessary billing information for Optometry and Podiatry clinic appointments, verifying vouchers, and maintaining database for appointments.
• Eyeglass purchases and repairs including coordination and tracking via database for all individuals. Communication with teams on repairs and purchases.
• Manage data base for to track eyeglass purchases/repairs, employees’ immunization record, and Physi-cal and Assessments documents for medical practitioners.
• In consultation with Infection Control Nurse (ICN) and Human Resources (HR), manage a data base to ensure processing of new employees and track employees’ immunizations. Will assist in distribution of annual influenza vaccination information.
• Daily monitoring of laboratory activities which includes preparing labs for transport; logging in returned labs and distributing to MD/PA/NP.
• Complete and maintain MOC schedule, maintain MOC log and send copies to administration.
• Maintain the Physical and Assessment database for the individuals and provide notification of overdue physicals and assessments.
• Miscellaneous typing, answering phones, filing, copying, and faxing for Nursing Program Coordinator, Medical Officers, and Infection Control Nurse.
• Provides secretarial support in the Dental Clinic, as needed.
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliability as evidenced by a review of time and attendance records.
• Other duties as assigned.
