Salary RangeFrom $44274 to $53927 Annually
Minimum Qualifications
New York State employees with one year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c status as a Program Aide (previously Administrative Aide or Agency Program Aide); OR New York State employees with one year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c status in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will assist the OGS Division of Construction group. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Process the onboarding paperwork for upstate and downstate Task employees received from the regions.
• Correspond with CM firms on receiving resumes and scheduling interviews for potential candidates.
• Process new hire forms, approval letters, and request funding.
• Calculate the value of work orders.
• Review and compare wage rate worksheets.
• Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
• Process extensions to work orders.
• Keep track of task employee evaluations.
• Act as a back-up to the Contract employee hire and transfer process.
• Answer Division of Construction phones.
• Provide administrative staff assistance.
• Maintain and schedule conference rooms.
• Schedule visitors.
In addition, the preferred candidate will have:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to organize work and to engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently.
• Ability to exercise discretion and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
