Minimum Qualifications Four years of paraprofessional experience in direct delivery of human services programs and/or program planning specifically for Native Americans. In addition, incumbent must have a demonstrated working knowledge of modern and traditional tribal customs, mores and structures of the Indian Nations of New York State.

College education in programs in human services, accounting or studies in American Indian Culture may be substituted for up to four years of the human services qualifying experience at a rate of 30 college credits equals one year of experience.

Duties Description Under the direction of the OCFS Native American Services Bureau Director, incumbent will act as facility manager of the Tonawanda Indian Community House.

Direct the daily operation and maintenance of the Tonawanda Indian Community House, including the provision of advice and consultation on the availability of programs to meet the specific needs of the Tonawanda Community members.

Manage community house personnel and submit bills and expenses related to facility operations

Conduct regular site visits and staff meetings with public and State representatives visiting the facility and with outside agencies such as the Office of General Services and Department of Health.

Prepare monthly reports for the Tonawanda Indian Reservation Community Association Board (TIRCA).

Perform general clerical duties, including phone coverage.

Other duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
