Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in computer technology, network technology, educational technology or related field required. One year of work experience in Helpdesk/user support activities. Demonstrated understanding of digital communications media/technologies. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, communication and technical skills.

Duties Description Arrange, organize and setup IT/computer/digital media equipment as needed for campus scheduled events on and off campus. Provide support and assistance during scheduled events as needed. Update and maintain digital media equipment; documentation for use of digital media equipment; and inventory of digital media equipment. Digital Media Technician will work closely with our Campus Event Coordinator to arrange room reservation, equipment selection and support for scheduled events. This individual will be the primary contact for all media support requests. Responsible for exploring upgrades for media and A/V equipment; research and explore training opportunities; and provide recommendations for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art technology and services. Provides assistance and training to faculty, staff, students and campus visitors/customers in the full utilization of instructional resources.

Additional Comments This is an 11 month position.
Regular work week/hours are Tuesday-Friday 11am-7pm; Saturday 8am-4:15pm while classes are in session; 8am to 4:15 pm Monday through Friday otherwise.
This is an SL-1 position.
Salary: $35,000.
