Minimum Qualifications Human Resources Specialist 1 Engineering, SG-18: eligible for a 52.6 transfer.
Human Resources Specialist Trainee 1 Engineering, NS: reachable on the PCO Select Titles eligible list; OR eligible for a 70.1 or 70.4 transfer; or 55-b/c eligible with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, or transportation engineering.
Duties Description The incumbent of this position will be responsible for developing Civil Service tests in areas of engineering and the physical sciences. The primary duties will include:
• Planning, preparing, and evaluating tests using a variety of formats, including multiple-choice, evaluation of training and experience, job simulations, constructed responses, and performance.
• Collecting and analyzing job information for use in developing and documenting appropriate test plans.
• Writing, editing, reviewing, and proofing test material; analyzing test results and preparing scoring recommendations.
