Minimum Qualifications 4-year degree in programming or a related field.
Actual programming experience at the level of an internship or equivalent
Good grasp of Object Oriented Programming concepts as evidenced by experience in Java, C#, or other OOP language.
Strong knowledge of SQL
Comfortable with Linux
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Willingness to learn and keep pace with modern technology
Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the aforementioned minimum qualifications, it is preferred the candidate also have:

Programming/analysis experience in SQL; PL/SQL preferred
OOP experience; C# preferred
Experience with PL/SQL Developer, Visual Studio, or a comparable IDE.
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.)
Acquaintance with Active Directory
Acquaintance with source control; git preferred

Duties Description SUNY Cobleskill is seeking a Programmer/Analyst to join its Information Technology Services department as part of its Information Services team.

The successful candidate will work closely with functional area end users to support the College's IT software applications through implementation, enhancement, integration, and reporting activities. Duties will include research and analysis, as well as support for and implementation of Banner-centric software solutions.

Additional Comments Salary range for this position is $42,000-45,000
This position is a 12 month, full time position
This position is a grade SL-2
