TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State employee with one year or more permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 13 or higher may be eligible for transfer under section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

70.4 QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or higher and who has passed the PCO exam and has a bachelor’s degree may be eligible for appointment.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

Assist and train agency personnel in sending IT requests to ITS and/or DOL
Make IT related requests for projects managed by ITS Liaison
Collaborate with DOL program area staff and ITS CRM to resolve problems or fulfill business need
Assist the ITS Liaison in prioritizing issues that need to be raised with IT CRM team and/or DOL executives
Assist in updating SharePoint Sites that are owned and/or managed by the ITS Liaison
Assist in creating knowledge base articles for IT related topics that can be resolved by DOL Business Approvers, IRR’s and other program administrative and supervisory staff
Work with ITS Liaison and Cyber Security taskforce to develop and implement agencies cyber security policies
Report phishing phone/email scams to Cyber Command Center, ISO and prepare related communications for the DOL Intranet
Draft IT related Communications that will be posted on the DOL Intranet or send to DOL employees
On occasion, lead and facilitate the intake & review board and cyber security task force meetings
