• Manage, modify and populate the PSES Statewide electronic filing platform
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft office suite in order to navigate comprehensively
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and have a clear focus and attention to detail
• Must be currently attending a New York State College, university or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State attending college, university or graduate program outside of New York State
• Must be a US Citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 Years of age or older
Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) provides high-quality, person-centered services, supports and advocacy to individuals with developmental disabilities in New York State. The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Division of Administration is seeking an Student Assistant to assist with the daily operations of the office.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Construct a detailed comparison between OPWDD in-house construction staff and DASNY project coordination.
• Perform such tasks as reviewing and researching administrative and procedural protocol
• Provide statistical analysis in a detailed format
• Chart cost savings and overtures of construction projects which exceed an annual cost estimate of 12 million dollars
• Manage, modify and populate the PSES Statewide electronic filing platform
