Duties Description As an Employment Services Representative in the Division of Employment and Workforce Solutions (DEWS), you would engage and promote NYSDOL Business Services to businesses. You would assess the skills of workers impacted by layoffs, organize targeted job fairs, develop customized recruitment events and customize presentations of DOL services and programs to business associations and affected businesses. You will represent DEWS and DOL at job fairs and coordinate community relations programs with partner organizations such as Local Workforce Investment Board, State and local economic development agency, or Chamber of Commerce. The Employment Services Representative will outreach to businesses and engage them in the promotion and usage of available services and provide any technical assistance to facilitate their use of these services. The representative will also monitor all business activities and do follow up to ensure the businesses needs were met.

Additional Comments Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evening and or out-stationed assignments.
