Minimum Qualifications Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State and have one year of full time post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Nursing assessments and orientation of inmates. Routine and emergency sick call for inmate population. Monitor physical call out, note and transcribe orders. Monitor chronic health problems, communicable disease. Provide inmates with their prescription medication in a timely fashion. Maintain adequate inventory control of medical supplies, over-the-counter medication. Chart management consistent with accreditation and QA. Provide emergency medical care for employees. Attend required training. Work as a team. Adhere to strict time and attendance guidelines.
