Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list, or;
Candidates must have at least one year of permanent competitive or 55b/55c service as a Workers’ Compensation Examiner, SG-14.

Duties Description Under the guidance of the Principal Medical Care Representative, SG-25, with direct supervision by the Supervising Medical Care Representative SG-23 in the Fee Scheduling/Arbitration unit, the incumbent will directly supervise the review, acceptance or rejection of applications for arbitration of disputed medical bills submitted by WCB-authorized providers in accordance with the provisions of WC Law. The incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of the various WCB fee schedules, including medical, inpatient and outpatient hospital, ambulatory surgery, emergency room as well as their associated processes.
