Duties Description Duties of the position will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
• Answer and direct incoming calls;
• Process incoming and outgoing mail;
• Type correspondence and/or reports;
• Respond to questions concerning the operation of the unit or program area;
• Coordinate arrangements for meetings, courses, and other gatherings, take attendance, and insure that appropriate materials are available;
• Enter data into a shared tracking data base;
• Copy/scan and file written documents;
• Process purchase orders for supplies and maintain inventory of supplies;
• Assist in special projects as requested.
Additional Comments You must be a current NYS employee to apply for this position. A full-time, permanent appointment will be made. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title.
