Minimum Qualifications ? Currently serving as a permanent Secretary 1 and eligible for transfer OR
? Reachable on the Civil Service List for Secretary 1 OR
? One year of permanent, competitive service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Provide secretarial duties to Regional Deputy Director and Community Services Administrators:
? Phones, faxes, correspondences, scheduling meetings, filling, copying TIMES, appointment scheduling.
? Manage Deputy Director’s calendar, manage Deputy Director’s travel account (SFS).
? Ensure the completion and submission of various reports as assigned by the Deputy Director.
? Assist Office Manager with Maintenance/Building issues; In contact with landlord, maintenance and cleaning company.
? Point person for scheduling all clerical coverage; Insuring that receptionists’ phones and desk are covered as well as other unit’s clerical coverage.
? Assist Office Manager.
? Ordering and monitoring bulk supplies for all units.
? Relief coverage provided for front desk as needed.
? Responsible to ensure maintenance of all office equipment.
? Assist secretaries with duties when necessary.
? Coordinate special projects as needed.
