Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as a Secretary 1, Secretary 2, Accountant Aide including Trainee 1 & 2, Business Document Specialist 1 & 2, Program Aide, Legal Assistant Trainee 1 & 2, Library Clerk 2 & 3, Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 (Calculations), Office Assistant 2 (Customer Service), Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding), Office Assistant 2 (Stores/Mail), Office Assistant 3, Office Assistant 3 (Calculations), Senior Offset Printing Machine Operator, Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor.

If you have not already demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding you will have to demonstrate that you meet the minimum proficiency in keyboarding.
Duties Description Manage Administration for a large remedial bureau. Provide secretarial support to the Bureau Director and staff, including maintaining the Bureau Director’s schedule and handling incoming calls and correspondence. Provide phone coverage when needed for other DER Bureaus and the Division Director’s office. Distribution of mail; receive and direct visitors. Typing of letters, memos, reports and forms; Copying, scanning, faxing and mailing documents. Scheduling meetings, establishing and maintaining files, including electronic and hard copy files. Duties also include purchasing supplies, coordinating travel arrangements as well as managing I-expense reports and FOIL requests. May supervise Office Assistant 1 staff and perform related duties (i.e. performance programs/evaluations, time and attendance verification). Any additional duties will be discussed during interview.
