Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Incident Management Unit (IMU) within the Division of Quality Improvement and Performance Management (DQIPM) was created as part of the initiative to ensure the safety and welfare of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a member of the IMU, responsibilities of the Senior Auditor may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Function as part of the Incident Management Unit’ IRMA team by creating and providing reports from several applications including Incident Report and Management Application (IRMA), Crystal, Business Intelligence (BI), Access, and the Justice Center BI tool. Provide IMU and DQIPM staff with pertinent information for monitoring and evaluation as assigned.
• Conduct audits/reviews to ensure appropriate IMU processes are being followed and ensure that data is reflected accurately in IRMA. Provide feedback if there are concerns related to the comprehensiveness and adequacy of that data.
• Work with the Justice Center to validate and reconcile data.
• Work with DQIPM staff, the Statewide Committee on Incident Review, the Division of Enterprise Solutions and other experts to develop appropriate and standardized analysis reports for the Commissioner’s and Leadership Team’s review, as well as specific trend reports that are required to be completed on an annual basis by all providers of service in accordance with Part 624 regulations.
• Provide a variety of ad hoc reports for internal and external entities such as the Justice Center and the Governor’s Office.
• Obtain accurate data for FOIL requests and OPWDD’s Counsel’s Office regarding litigation.
• Assist in building, testing, and modifying new reports and reporting tools, i.e. BI to ensure data and reports are valid.
• Assist providers with OPWDD regulation requirements, specifically sections 624 and 625.
• Manage correspondence in the Incident Management Unit’s mailbox.
• Provide technical assistance to agencies on the IRMA application.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of the Incident Management Unit.
