Minimum Qualifications Must possess a valid New York State license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse and have a minimum of one year post licensure clinical nursing experience.

Duties Description Administer medication to individuals and monitor for reaction/side effects. Record individuals medical information and vital signs. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement or evaluate individual care plans. Monitor all aspects of an individuals care, including diet and physical activity. Provide health care, first aid, immunizations or assistance in convalescence or rehabilitation. Performs, coordinates, directs and provides nursing care on a facility unit(s), in clinics/infirmary. May function as a unit supervisor on the evening/night shift. Prepare daily time and work schedules. Ensure inventory standards for medicines, solutions, supplies and equipment are maintained. Account for the issuance of controlled drugs and narcotics, inventories such drugs on each shift worked. Maintains accurate and detailed reports and records. Clinical rounds on wards.
