Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as a Secretary 1, Secretary 2, Accountant Aide including Trainee 1 & 2, Business Document Specialist 1 & 2, Program Aide, Legal Assistant Trainee 1 & 2, Library Clerk 2 & 3, Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 (Calculations), Office Assistant 2 (Customer Service), Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding), Office Assistant 2 (Stores/Mail), Office Assistant 3, Office Assistant 3 (Calculations), Senior Offset Printing Machine Operator, Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor.

If you have not already demonstrated proficiency in keyboarding you will have to demonstrate that you meet the minimum proficiency in keyboarding.
Duties Description The position will provide the principal administrative support for the White Plains office.
Manages office support activities: Perform general office duties as needed, including answering phones, copying, scanning, document filing and organization, office purchases, coordinate Regional Fleet Management, facilitate meetings/trainings, maintain office supplies and equipment, process incoming and outgoing mail, respond to questions from the public, manager and other staff.
Assist program managers with personnel related tasks: Maintain staff performance programs, assist with hiring process scheduling and logistics, process training records and logs.
Assist program staff: Assist staff in complying with Division and Department policies and procedures, schedule meetings, create and process correspondence, document filing.
Assist White Plains office manager and building liaison: Assist with organizing and coordinating essential office operations.
Administer the Freedom of Information Act: Review requests for information, locate requested material and determine if available to the public in accordance with the law, and forwarding materials to requestors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
