Job Specifics
Duties Description Under the direction of the second shift Park Supervisor 2, SG-14, the incumbent will assist with removing trash and litter throughout the park, perform basic landscaping tasks which include operation of push mowers and weed trimmers, perform basic maintenance repairs to park furnishings, lock and open restrooms, cold patch repair roads and parking areas, and deliver parcels throughout the park.
Duties include but not limited to:
• Performs simple maintenance activities such as restocking shelves, fixing or replacing restroom hardware, unclogging toilets and sinks, replacing faucets and washers.
• Operation and basic maintenance of vehicles and power-driven equipment.
• May assist with upkeep and repair of park furnishings.
• Assist as directed during emergencies, performing traffic and crowd control.
Minimum Qualifications No minimum qualifications per Civil Service.

Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment.
• Must be able to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to perform medium to heavy physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.
