Minimum Qualifications You must take and pass a Civil Service examination in order to be considered for this position. Must be licensed and currently registered as a Physician's Assistant by New York State Education Department OR possess a limited permit to practice as a Physician's Assistant in New York State. OR Permanent New York State Employee currently serving in this title or eligible for 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description Under the supervision of the Medical Director, you would assist in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities. You would perform routine medical examinations; write presriptions and submit them to the physician for countersignature; order standard laboratory and x-ray procedures; and evaluate laboratory tests.

Additional Comments Work location to be determined within the Sunmount DDSO. All OPWDD employees must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Continued employment will depend on maintaining eligibility.
