Minimum Qualifications The Executive Division of the Office of the New York State Attorney General is seeking an Executive Receptionist for the New York City office. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant; be an energetic person with exceptional telephone etiquette, above-average oral and written communication skills; and have the ability to multi-task and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Punctuality is a must.

Applicants should have a thorough understanding of the role of the Office of the Attorney General including, but not limited to, the functions of the divisions and bureaus. This position requires someone who is flexible and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including Outlook and Excel, and strong organizational skills are also required. College degree is preferred but not required.

Duties Description • Answer, direct and place telephone calls.
• Greet and direct visitors.
• Schedule meetings and reserve conference rooms.
• Arrange conference room setup and equipment needs.
• Complete routine office work, including but not limited to faxing, copying, ordering and maintaining office supplies.
• Assist Legal Recruitment Bureau with all aspects of posting employment opportunities to various websites.
• Research employment application inquiries.
• Assist at Office of the Attorney General events.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
• Some overtime may be required.

Additional Comments Salary to be determined commensurate with experience.
