Minimum Qualifications 30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries, marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.
Duties Description Position 1: Conduct outreach and education to reduce human/deer and human/furbearer conflicts. Assess human/deer and human/furbearer conflicts and provide techinical assistance to reduce such conflicts. Collect and manage field and reported data to assist with deer and furbearer management.
Position 2: Coordinate and conduct field surveys for small game, including migratory and upland game birds. Collect and manage small game data. Assist with outreach to reduce human/deer conflicts. Assist with assessing human/deer conflicts and providing technical assistance to reduce such conflicts.
Additional Comments Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 3/31/16. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 3/31/16. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
Anticipated hourly rate will be $15.41 pending approval.
