Minimum Qualifications This is a transfer opportunity for a current State employee with permanent service as an Administrative Assistant.

*NOTE: Successful completion of two year traineeship leads to appointment as an Administrative Assistant, SG-18.
Duties Description Provide professional administrative and staff support to the Office of General Services (OGS) Claims Administrator for the Bureau of Risk and Insurance Management Program. This program is responsible for the following: insurance underwriting, commercial general liability insurance, professional liability insurance, cyber insurance and builders risk insurance.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Assist in the review of the Request For Proposal (RFP) insurance language and contract insurance language to meet the insurance needs of all OGS business units. Upon contract award, review insurance certificates to assure compliance with requirements.
• Assist the Senior Administrative Analyst and Insurance Claims Administrator with insurance procurement, insurance renewals and the insurance needs of multiple state agencies, public authorities and public benefit corporations as needed to bind insurance coverage to meet state entities’ insurance needs.
• Manage the general office support activities.
• Undertake special assignments as directed.
