Minimum Qualifications - Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled journey-level position which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in a trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses in a trade at a school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Certified public water system operator.
- Certified chainsaw operator.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.

Duties Description Performs journey-level work in the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Supervise/train others in maintenance, repair, installation and construction activities, giving instructions and observing and inspecting work performed to insure that instructions have been followed and that the quality of the work is satisfactory. Must have ability to plan and lay out construction, repair and maintenance projects and have a working knowledge of applicable standards and plumbing and electrical code regulations. Must perform a variety of skilled and semiskilled maintenance, repair, installation and construction tasks in the mechanical, building, motor equipment and electrical trades. All tasks are to be conducted in a safe manner, with any injuries/illnesses reported immediately to supervisor. On occasion, may be expected to orally communicate with administrators and others in an agency or State facility on the reasons why work is being accomplished in the manner selected. Must be able to work with considerable independence as is typical of a craftsperson. Ensure that LATS is/are submitted/approved by the Friday following end of the pay period. Use hand tools, portable power tools, shop equipment and measuring and testing instruments appropriate for the craft or crafts to which assigned. Administer recreation vehicle fleet (40 plus vehicles), including repairs distribution, mileage reports and fuel logs. Manage equipment fleet, including repairs distribution, purchasing. Planning, scoping and facilitating construction projects. Coordinating public water system testing and repairs. Coordinating fire inspections and abatements/repairs and general management of up to 17 recreational facilities. Coordinate, spec, and supervise construction projects and R and I for campgrounds. Manage and coordinate lifeguard program and beaches. Conduct employee orientations and training(s). Over see audit office (all functions) and supply distribution. Inventory and for campground supplies and equipment. General management of up to 17 recreational facilities.
