Graduate and undergraduate credits may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 credits for each six months of experience, not to exceed two years of experience,

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will assist the Regional Compliance Specialist 2 (RCS2) in making sure contractors and consultants comply with contractual provisions for equal employment, training and minority/women/disadvantaged business enterprise participation.
Conduct site audits regularly to monitor and ensure contractors and consultants’ compliance.
Provide Technical assistance to the Engineer in Charge, the Consultant and the Contractor to achieve or maintain contractual compliance, preparing Affirmative Action and on-the-job training programs using the Department’s established electronic reporting system.
Required to perform night monitoring of construction contracts.
In collaboration with Engineer-in-charge, notify contractors in writing of program deficiencies and steps that must be taken, in good faith, to conform with civil rights-related contract provisions.
Submit reports to RCS2 of findings, including recommendations, sanctions or penalties and meet with Regional Construction Executive staff to discuss findings, negotiate solutions and assist in correcting practices.
