Minimum Qualifications Two years’ experience in the operation and/or maintenance of a park, historic site, or recreational facility; OR two years experience as a trades assistant under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson, or completion of an appropriate two-year technical/trades school course.

Duties Description Under the direction of the park manager or his/her designee, the PW3 performs a variety of tasks including; clerical, secretarial, and maintenance. Incumbent will be primarily responsible for the operation of the park office. The incumbent will perform complicated numerical tasks using accepted account keeping, auditing, statistical, payroll or other procedures in which mathematical calculations are fundamental. Supervise clerical/revenue support staff in the performance of more routine tasks and will be responsible for providing evaluations of work performance. Incumbent will have knowledge of the park programs and transactions related to such. Incumbent will also produce and design summary reports using data generated from park operations. Incumbent will assist with programming and scheduling of seasonal programs and special events for park users.

Additional Comments Applicant must possess and maintain a valid NYS driver’s license as a term and condition of employment.

Applicant must obtain within the probationary period a NYS Notary Public certification at his/her expense as a term and condition of employment.

Candidate will work a variable work schedule and will be required to work weekends and hours as needed.
