Minimum Qualifications Open Competitive:
Licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State
Transfer Opportunity:
One year permanent competitive service as a Licensed Psychologist or eligible for a 70.1 transfer.
Promotional Opportunity:

Licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State; AND one year permanent competitive service as an Associate Psychologist or Psychologist 2.

Duties Description Clinical leadership; Program management; Forensic or court-ordered assessment, treatment and expert testimony; Disability, neuropsychological or education evaluation and interpretation;

Provision of psychological services in residential treatment programs, reception placement and Evidence-Based Community Initiatives;

Provision of psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, sexual offense treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, trauma, or substance and/or chemical abuse programs;

Specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education);

Design and application of behavioral technology and other appropriate specialized psychological interventions;

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
