Minimum Qualifications For Permanent Appointment: Candidates must be eligible for 70.1 or 52.6 transfer
For Provisional Appointment: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and five years of professional administrative experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities. Three years of this experience must have included responsibility for policy analysis* or standards development**.
*Policy Analysis is the examination, assessment and development of policy approaches to providing supports and services to people with developmental disabilities. Policy takes the form of legislation, regulation and/or agency policy direction.
**Standards Development is the researching, writing, editing and formatting of regulations for programs operated and certified in the field of developmental disabilities. Standards development is a multi-step process that involves the analysis and incorporation of relevant information that results in the final promulgation of a regulation.
Duties Description OPWDD’s MFP program will facilitate individuals moving from institutional residential settings into qualifying community settings with person centered planning and follow-up to ensure each person’s needs are met and their quality of life is improved. The incumbent will report to the OPWDD MFP Project Director and Supervisor.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily management of complex federally required data collection, mining, reporting and database development and management for the MFP Demonstration;
• Data tracking and reporting activities;
• Assisting to update the MFP Operational Protocol as needed;
• Assisting in the oversight of MFP funded contract deliverables such as peer-based outreach to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assisting with monthly conference calls with regional MFP Leads across New York State.
