Duties Description This position will assist with the coordination of personnel activities for the Division of the State Fair for the annual 12-day Fair held August through Labor Day. Other duties may be assigned that are related to the general operation of a Human Resources office. Duties may include but will not be limited to: enters personnel data into an Access database; corresponds with Superintendents or Department Managers by telephone or e-mail; handles the re-scheduling of employee processing appointments; prepares various HR correspondence. The desired candidate should be comfortable multi-tasking within a fast paced work environment. Computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Access, Excel and Word is essential. A strong candidate will also have polished interpersonal skills and a customer service attitude when handling inquiries from the general public.
Additional Comments This is a temporary, hourly appointment. Actual work schedule, duties, travel requirements and length of temporary appointment will be discussed at the interview. This position is pending receipt of Division of Budget approval.
