Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades worker or completion of an appropriate two year technical school course.

Preferred qualifications: Working knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the trades or trade assigned. Working knowledge of applicable codes and regulations for the trade or trades to which assigned. Ability to read plans, specifications, manuals, and blueprints. Experience in light and heavy duty equipment operation.

Duties Description Maintenance and rehabilitation work on infrastructure including buildings, recreation facilities, bridges, dams, access roads and wildlife management areas. Must be able to operate hand held small equipment such as chainsaws, string trimmers, and various carpentry tools. Will be required to operate light and heavy duty construction equipment. Will be required to follow safety standards and procedures. Will be required to perform moderate to heavy manual labor and lift up to 50lbs. Will be required to climb ladders and work off scaffolds and platforms. Must have or obtain a Class B CDL within six months of appointment with appropriate endorsements.

Additional Comments Must have and maintain a valid drivers license. Must have or obtain a Class B CDL within six months of appointment with appropriate endorsements.
