Duties Description The Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG) is seeking a litigator to serve in the Suffolk Regional Office. The Regional Office represents the State, its agencies and officers in a wide range of defensive litigation pending in federal and state courts. Applicants must be capable of handling all phases of litigation from commencement through trial. Trial experience is a plus. Familiarity with the Court of Claims is also a plus.
Additional Comments Applicants must reside in (or intend to soon become a resident of) New York State and be admitted to practice law in New York State. In addition, the Public Officers Law requires that attorneys in the Office be citizens of the United States.
Salary commensurate with experience.
