Minimum Qualifications Nurse 2 Psy: A registered nurse in NYS with current registration to practice. One year of post-licensure registered clinical experience, including six months post-licensure specialized nursing experience with individuals, at least 50% of whom have been diagnosed with mental illness, alcoholism, or chemical dependency or eighteen months of post-licensure registered nurse general clinical experience. Candidate must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. Failure to maintain licensure, certification and Medicaid/Medicare eligibility will result in the termination of employment. McPike ATC is a Tobacco-Free facility.*
Nurse 1: Candidate must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in NYS, possess a limited permit to practice nursing in NYS, or be eligible to enter the examination for such license. The candidate must obtain a NYS license within one year of the date of appointment or action will be taken to terminate the candidate from the position.*

Duties Description Administer nursing and direct care including completion of nursing and admission assessments;
• Transcribe and execute prescriber/medical orders;
• Administer medications and treatments;
• Monitor the environment for patient health, safety, and security;
• Involvement in facility performance assessment and improvement activities;
• Function as shift charge;
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned;
• Proficient use of a computer is required for record keeping and documentation;
• Collect specimens; Perform venipunctures;
• Maintain nursing/facility supplies and equipment;
• Provide crisis intervention as needed;
• Transport patients as assigned using NYS vehicle;
May direct other staff, trainees, in assignments; Completion of other tasks to meet ATC needs.
Additional Comments salary range for Nurse 1: $41,993-$53,606
