Minimum Qualifications Possession of a Master’s in Business Administration degree is preferred but a Master’s degree in a closely related field will also be considered. The candidate must be an innovative self-starter with strong communication and negotiations skills. An understanding of New York State procurement rules is preferred but not required.
Duties Description The Concessions and Real Estate Project Manager will initiate and establish agreements with public and private partners to operate, invest in and expand services and facilities in parks and historic sites. Through Requests for Proposals, Requests for Interest, contracts, management agreements and other mechanisms, this position will coordinate, negotiate and close deals with outside organizations for a wide variety of services and benefits to OPRHP and its visitors, including agreements with utility providers, municipalities and private companies. Services and benefits include food and beverage service, education and recreational programming, sponsorships for resources such as Wifi, and management and maintenance of facilities.
