Duties Description Clinical Physician 2 requires:
*A license to practice medicine in New York State;
*Completion of one year of Post-Graduate training, and
*Two years of medical experience.
As a Clinical Physician 2 at this 1680-bed facility, you would serve as clinical practitioner on an advanced level and, for designated shifts, provide medical leadership to a team of RN's and Pharmacists. Under the direction of the facility Health Services Director you would administer and actively participate in the general medical care of the patients for whom you are responsible. As a "specialist" you would be consulted on and provide medical treatment for specific types of patients presenting unusual medical problems. A clinical physician provides a total of 40 hours on-site and on-call coverage weekly.
